It’s #OurCouncilDay or #ÁrLáSaChomhairle on Twitter and Donegal County Council along with other local authorities in Ireland will be tweeting about the work we do and the services we provide.

Last year’s Twitter Day was a huge success. ‘#OurCouncilDay’ trended nationally with 1,481 contributors and 5,473 tweets from across the country which earned a staggering 22,775,333 impressions and reached 2,790,732 accounts.
Local services such as transportation, housing, arts, heritage, the library services, fire service, civil defence plus many other aspects of the council were highlighted on the day.
